Most limited company mistakes are timing mistakes. A first year end that runs past twelve months, a corporation tax payment that falls due three months before the return, a confirmation statement nobody diarised. None of that needs an accountant to explain, it needs a date in your calendar.
The tools above answer the questions directors actually search for, with the rule and the official source behind each answer. If you want the same clarity applied to your own company, our accountancy services cover statutory accounts, corporation tax, VAT and payroll on fixed monthly fees, published in full on our fees page.
Prefer a calculator?
Our tax calculators cover dividend tax, salary and dividend planning, contractor take home pay, corporation tax, VAT, payroll and Self Assessment for 2025/26 and 2026/27.
Common questions
Are these tools free to use?
Yes, all five are free and need no sign up. The deadline tool offers optional email reminders, and basic questions about your answers are free too. Technical work is quoted before we start.
Are the figures up to date?
Rates and penalty bands follow current published GOV.UK, HMRC and Companies House guidance, and the tax tools cover both 2025/26 and 2026/27. Each page shows the date it was last reviewed and who reviewed it.
Can I rely on the results for filing?
Use them for planning. They are estimates from published rules and cannot see your full circumstances, so confirm anything you are about to file, or ask us to check it.
