Specialist guidance
A contractor company needs more than a year-end filing. We keep bookkeeping, salary, dividends, expenses and the director’s loan account aligned with the statutory accounts and CT600, while VAT and payroll follow their own submission dates.
The written scope confirms whether bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll and director Self Assessment are included, so a low headline fee does not hide essential work.
Employment-status and off-payroll rules depend on the working arrangements and facts of each engagement. We explain the accounting consequences and work with specialist advisers where a formal contract or status review is needed; we do not promise an outcome from a job title alone.
Allowable costs must be incurred for the company’s trade and supported by records. Travel to temporary workplaces, equipment, software, professional subscriptions and home-working costs each have conditions, so we review the actual contract and working pattern rather than apply a generic list.
We check approaching Companies House, Corporation Tax, VAT, payroll and Self Assessment deadlines first. With your authority, we request professional clearance and available records, then identify missing submissions or unreconciled balances before accepting responsibility.
Our team includes ICAEW, ACCA and AAT members, with the professional wording stated consistently across the website.
The proposal identifies deliverables, responsibilities, exclusions and fees before work starts.
