Four things: how many sales channels feed the ledger, how many VAT registrations you hold, how many people are on payroll, and whether you want management accounts monthly or quarterly. A single channel UK only seller sits at the bottom of the range; a multi channel seller with OSS and a team sits higher.
Inside: the recurring compliance cycle, the software licences we specify, unlimited basic tax questions, and your annual planning conversation. Outside: one off projects such as an HMRC enquiry, a VAT registration in another country, a share reorganisation or a funding round. Those are quoted separately before any work starts.
Only when the work does: a new channel, a new registration, more staff. We tell you before, not after, and we review the fee once a year rather than drifting it upward quietly.

Start with gross orders and reconcile through refunds, marketplace taxes, selling fees, advertising, fulfilment charges, reserves and currency differences to the net bank deposit. The settlement report, not the bank receipt alone, is the accounting source.

Yes. We request professional clearance, collect the prior records and authorities, check the next Companies House and HMRC deadlines, and give you one clear handover list. The process is normally completed remotely.
Yes. We work through secure cloud records, scheduled reviews and digital approvals, while keeping a named team available by phone, video call and email. Clients can also visit our Morden office by appointment.
We regularly work with Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent, Sage and connected sales or expense apps. The right setup depends on transaction volume, integrations and the reports you need, not simply the software brand.
