One-off costs
Incorporation itself costs a small statutory fee whether filed directly or through an agent. Non-residents usually also pay for a registered office and service address on an annual basis, since a home address abroad cannot be used, and this is the first recurring cost most people overlook.
Identity verification through GOV.UK One Login is free, but many non-resident directors use an Authorised Corporate Service Provider instead, which usually charges a fee, particularly useful where documents or a facial check are easier to complete through a professional intermediary.
