Why this matters more when living abroad
Your residential address is required by Companies House for internal records and identity checks and is not disclosed to the public where a separate service address is provided, though certain authorities can still access it.
The service address is the one shown on the public register for a director or PSC and is where documents relating to that role can be sent, so it should be somewhere post is actually monitored.
Publishing a home address in another country exposes personal safety and privacy details unnecessarily, and can also invite unwanted contact from people who search the public register.
Using an accountant's UK address as the service address avoids this entirely while keeping a reliable route for legal and official correspondence, separate from wherever you actually live.

One-off filings are sold at fixed prices, and the Companies House fees we pay for you are charged at cost with no VAT added.
