Expect roughly £500 to £1,500 plus VAT a year for accounts and a CT600 alone for a small company, or £89 to £289 a month plus VAT for a package covering accounts, tax, VAT, payroll and director Self Assessment.
Turnover and transaction volume, whether bookkeeping is done and reconciled, VAT registration and scheme, payroll headcount, the number of director tax returns, stock, foreign currency, and whether you want management accounts or advisory time through the year.
The single biggest variable is record quality. A reconciled Xero file costs a fraction of a shoebox of receipts, because the accounts work is the same but the bookkeeping is not.
Ask what happens when you phone with a question, whether Self Assessment is included, whether payroll is per employee, whether the confirmation statement and its fee are covered, and what a catch-up costs if you fall behind. Those four exclusions account for most complaints about cheap fixed fees.
Our fees are published on the fees page so you can price the work before speaking to anyone, and basic tax advice is free* as part of the relationship.
Rates, thresholds and deadlines quoted here reflect the 2026/27 UK position and current Companies House and HMRC guidance. Check GOV.UK, or ask us, before relying on them for your own company.
