Annual accounts: nine months after the accounting reference date, or 21 months after incorporation for a first set.
Confirmation statement: at least every twelve months, filed within 14 days of the review period end, £34 online.
Changes to directors, PSCs, registered office and share capital: usually within 14 days of the change.
Company tax return (CT600): twelve months after the end of the accounting period.
Corporation tax payment: nine months and one day after the end of the accounting period, earlier than the return.
VAT returns: normally one month and seven days after each quarter. PAYE: FPS on or before payday, payment by the 22nd of the following month. P60s by 31 May, P11Ds by 6 July.
Director Self Assessment: 31 January after the tax year, with payments on account on 31 January and 31 July.
Work backwards from each deadline and set an internal date a month earlier. Most penalties are missed-diary problems, not disputes about tax.
