What an ACSP is authorised to do
ACSPs must themselves register with Companies House, complete anti-money laundering checks and agree to verify the identity of directors, PSCs and shareholders to the same standard as the direct online route, before submitting filings on their behalf.
In practice this means an ACSP can incorporate a company, verify every officer's identity as part of that process, and continue filing confirmation statements and other documents as the company's authorised agent afterwards.
