At every level, the package includes preparing the annual accounts for filing at Companies House, preparing and submitting the corporation tax return to HMRC, and general support with day to day questions about running the company through the year.
Bookkeeping support and record keeping guidance are also part of the service, since accurate underlying records are what let the annual accounts and tax return be prepared correctly and on time.
As you move from the £89 to the £169 and £289 plus VAT tiers, packages typically add payroll processing for directors and employees, VAT return preparation and submission, and more regular management accounts or check-ins, reflecting the extra work a larger or more active company generates.
Which tier suits you depends on transaction volume, payroll headcount and VAT status rather than turnover alone, so two companies with similar sales can sit in different packages if one runs payroll and VAT and the other does not.
